Flippost ("we," "us," "our") is an AI-powered content repurposing platform operated by Ideabees Technologies. Our service is available at flippost.app and the application at app.flippost.app.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects billing details — we do not store credit card or UPI information on our servers.

2.2 Content You Provide

When you use Flippost, you paste or import blog posts, articles, newsletters, or other long-form text. This input content is sent to our AI processing pipeline to generate social media posts. We store your input content and generated outputs to provide your job history and enable re-use.

2.3 Usage Data

We collect platform selections, feature usage patterns, job timestamps, and basic device information (browser type, screen size, operating system) to improve our service. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

2.4 Brand Voice Data

If you use brand voice customization, we store the sample posts and tone preferences you provide. This data is used exclusively to tailor AI outputs to your writing style.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the service: Processing your content through AI to generate platform-native social media posts.
• To maintain your account: Authentication, billing, job history, and preferences.
• To improve Flippost: Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us improve output quality, UX, and platform support.
• To communicate with you: Service updates, billing notifications, and product announcements (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time).

4. AI Processing & Third-Party Subprocessors

Flippost uses Claude by Anthropic as our AI model provider. When you submit content for repurposing, the text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy. Under our commercial API agreement, Anthropic does not use your inputs or outputs to train their models.

Other subprocessors may include hosting providers (Vercel), payment processors, and email delivery services. A current list is available upon request.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data under the following legal bases:

• Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interest: Service improvement, security, and fraud prevention.
• Consent: Marketing communications and optional analytics.

6. Data Retention

• Free plan: Input content and generated outputs are retained for 7 days after generation.
• Creator plan: 30-day job history as described in the plan features.
• Pro plan: Unlimited history for the duration of your subscription.
• Account data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion request.
• Billing records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
• Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Portability: Export your generated content (available via CSV export on Pro plan, or by request).
• Objection: Opt out of marketing communications or certain data processing activities.
• Restriction: Request that we limit processing of your data in specific circumstances.

For users in India: Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also contact our Grievance Officer at the same email address. We will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and avoid sharing sensitive information in blog content you submit.

9. International Data Transfers

Flippost is operated from India. If you access the service from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India and other countries where our subprocessors operate (including the United States for AI processing via Anthropic). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses where required by GDPR.

10. Children's Privacy

Flippost is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly.

11. Cookies & Tracking

Flippost uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. No cookie banner is needed because we do not set non-essential cookies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
